Baker Tilly Denmark enters strategic partnership with Norwegian Aider
At Baker Tilly, we are taking a strategic step toward our goal of becoming a top‑8 audit firm in Denmark. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with AIDER. The strategy will be driven both through organic growth and acquisitions, while Aider’s technological capabilities will further enhance efficiency and support the attraction of talented employees to Baker Tilly.
A growing Norwegian competence house
Aider was founded in 2019 and today employs 2,000 people with an annual turnover of approximately three billion Norwegian kroner. Over the past 12 months, the competence house has grown from being exclusively Norwegian to becoming a European player now established in Poland, Sweden, and Denmark.
The Danish Aider expansion continues to be led by Claus Bonde Hansen, former Head of Audit & Assurance at BDO Denmark. Claus now joins the leadership team at Baker Tilly. Claus and one of Aider’s founders, Andreas Vik, know each other from their time at BDO, where they both previously held leadership roles in their respective countries.
Shared values as the foundation
Close collaboration across borders will create clear benefits for both parties. For Aider, it means becoming established in Denmark with a significant business footprint; and for Baker Tilly, it accelerates the strategy for continued growth and development. At the same time, Baker Tilly’s vision and mission align strongly with the values that Aider represents.
In autumn 2025, we defined a new strategy focusing on growth, utilization of technological opportunities, and on developing and attracting skilled employees. The goal is to grow to 500 employees by 2030. We now expect to achieve that sooner — together with Aider.
We will continue as Baker Tilly Denmark with a strong focus on proactive and value‑creating advisory services for our clients. With the partnership with Aider, this can be further strengthened through synergies and digitalisation.
