The customer's challenges

In the company, many employees spend a lot of time creating clients and cases. In addition, all newly created cases must go through a larger approval flow internally within the company.

The process is characterised by a huge amount of coordination which is required in the process of creating cases. So far, this primarily consists of emails that are sent back and forth in the company.

Therefore, the customer wanted to have one place to create the case and start the approval flow.

Baker Tilly's app solution

Baker Tilly advised the customer and offered to develop an app solution that could start and create a flow in the process of creating cases. The app offered an independent flow that started when an employee pressed “create” in the app. From here, the employees involved were automatically notified in the approval process.

Advantages of the solution

  • The app solution sets a frame for which data inputs are keyed in, which means that data is structured. The employees are therefore forced to deal with specific variables when they create the case
  • Connected flow - Mails are no longer sent back and forth in the process of creating cases
  • Release of employee resources.
